 by former practicing attorney, Jennifer Loud.

 

It is a PROVEN 6-Step system that walks lawyers through

the process of discovering and landing their true life’s career

—whether inside of outside the traditional practice of law.

 

We may not have the freedom we were looking for—However,

what we do have is control.

 

1. Decide to Make a Change—nothing is more challenging than taking that first step.  Think about when you were a kid and took that first jump off of a diving board or took the training wheels off a bike!  What about the first day of work as a lawyer?  Pretty nerve wracking!  This is the first step in taking control.

2. Introspection — although we often think we know ourselves best, a second opinion can prove invaluable.  We have blind spots to our actions and behaviors.  Coaching provides a mirror.  The excercises in this area help you get focused.

3. Career Shopping — the possibilities are endless and can seem daunting but once you’ve done step 2, this is much much easier.  You know what you don’t want. It’s more important for you to know exactly what you do want so, that others can help you. 

4. Networking—you’ll be amazed at how many people you already have relationships with who can help you.  The approach and strategy is important.  During this part of the program we will begin your network and how you’ll use it.

5. Repackaging — if you think you can just turn your resume over as is and have magic happen, you’re mistaken.  Here we work on tools to help showcase your skills and interests to help you get in that door.

6. New Job — Interviewing, offer and acceptance.  You’re not going to take the first thing that comes along...unless, of course it happens to be perfect!
